'Radio Star' actor Heo Sung-tae talked about camaraderie with actors he met in the film 'The Age of Shadows'.
On the 10th broadcast of MBC variety show 'Radio Star', actors Heo Sung-tae and Shin Sung-rok appeared. Heo Sung-tae said, "'Radio Star' is a channel that even my mother is happy about. My film 'The Informant' had its release scheduled hurriedly, so I thankfully appeared like this," adding, "I met Shin Sung-rok in 'The Age of Shadows'. But the pro-Japanese collaborator Gong Yoo and I hung out, and Shin Sung-rok was in the Uiyeoldan so he hung out with Han Ji-min," boasting of his friendship with co-star Shin Sung-rok.
The film 'The Age of Shadows' received much love for its deep acting and direction. Heo Sung-tae said, "But since it was overseas and Um Tae-goo was the youngest, he grilled dried pollack every day," conveying the unexpected charm of Um Tae-goo's tremendous villain role.
He said, "We were both offered roles in 'Penthouse' but Shin Sung-rok took an MBC drama and I appeared in 'Squid Game Season', so we couldn't meet then either," noting that Shin Sung-rok even came wearing a yongpo, which surprised everyone and drew laughter.
