The suspect who assaulted singer and actress Ariana Grande was ejected from pop star Lady Gaga's concert.
On the 9th (local time), Page Six reported that footage captured the suspect who attacked Ariana Grande being removed from Lady Gaga's concert in Australia.
According to the report, Johnson Wen, an Australian influencer who rushed at Ariana Grande at the Singapore premiere of the film "Wicked: For Good" and was sentenced to 9 days in jail, was removed from Lady Gaga's concert in Brisbane, Australia. Many audience members watched as Johnson Wen was escorted out by staff and jeered at him.
Johnson Wen announced the incident on his own channel. He wrote, "I was removed from the Lady Gaga concert. The show starts at 8 p.m., but fans who arrived early booed me."
Lady Gaga's side did not issue any special statement on the matter.
Johnson Wen previously, at last month's premiere of "Wicked: For Good" in Singapore, jumped over a barricade, rushed at Ariana Grande and attempted physical contact. Ariana Grande was greatly shocked by the sudden attack, and Cynthia Erivo stepped in to protect her. Johnson Wen later disclosed the incident on his social media, and he was prosecuted on charges of disturbing the peace in a public place and sentenced to 9 days in jail.
At the time, the judge told Johnson Wen, "You seem to want attention, and when you engage in this behavior you are thinking only of yourself rather than the safety of others."
