'Original trot idol' Daesung returns.
Daesung today (10) at 6 p.m. will release his new single 'Handochoga' through various online music sites and begin full-scale comeback activities.
'Handochoga' is an album that captures the process in which the various moments of love spread and seep into different emotions. Featuring the title track of the same name, 'Handochoga,' as well as the synth-rock-based 'A single rose' and the R&B ballad 'I seem suited to being alone,' three moods naturally blend to reveal Daesung's bright and warm sensibility.
Ahead of the comeback, Daesung raised expectations by sequentially releasing various promotions such as the track list, Highlight-trailer (highlight medley + trailer), and mood film. In particular, the music video teaser released on the 9th densely captured the unique excitement of trot and Daesung's cheerful energy, heightening the momentum just before the release.
This new release also received powerful backing. On the title track 'Handochoga,' producers who worked together on 'Look at me, surrender' — G-DRAGON and KUSH — reunited to elevate the musical completeness. In addition, Sana of TWICE made a surprise appearance in the mood film, drawing attention.
This year Daesung has continued active activities from an Asia tour to OSTs and YouTube content, showcasing his presence as a global artist. Expectations are building for the new musical world he will show through the new single 'Handochoga.'
Meanwhile, Daesung's new single 'Handochoga' will be released through various online music sites at 6 p.m. on the 10th, and from Jan. 2 to 4 next year a three-day 'DAESUNG 2025 ASIA TOUR: D's WAVE ENCORE – SEOUL' will be held at Ticketlink Live Arena (Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium).
