BTS member RM, who recently spoke frankly about his feelings on the comeback, once again poured out his heart to fans.
On the 8th, RM posted a long message on the official fan communication platform Weverse saying, "I'm sorry if I tired many ARMYs with the live broadcast two days ago."
Earlier, on the 6th, RM said during a live broadcast, "I can't easily comeback until we release something that satisfies the fans," adding, "Since last month I haven't been able to sleep again. I've even wondered whether I should get a prescription for sleeping pills," expressing his burden.
He also explained, "Some ask, 'Why did you waste the second half of 2025,' but we didn't want to waste it," and "We wanted to be active, but there were reasons we couldn't. I don't have the right to speak about them," and honestly said, "I've thought tens of thousands of times whether it would be better to disband or to suspend the team. Continuing the team is because we have love among ourselves, and because we have love and respect for you who are watching this live now."
However, when mention of 'disbandment' after the live caused misunderstanding, RM posted an additional message to soothe fans. He said, "I received a lot of worrying messages. I regret turning on the live; I was just frustrated and that came first. I'm sorry. Please view us a little kindly. I'll just make music, practice choreography hard together, think about new content, sleep well and live like that," he said.
He updated fans, "I'll soon take the driving test; yesterday I practiced driving, put on a sticker and completed all four course runs. I'm scared (there was no accident). And yesterday I watched the film The Color of Pomegranate, and the home interior is all finished so soon I'll go back home after about half a year. I'll decorate it all and introduce it later. I took out the tongs to make a snow duck but it all melted," and added, "It's very cold so dress warmly and don't catch a cold. That's it!"
Meanwhile, BTS has all members finished their military service hiatus and is preparing for a full-group comeback next spring.
