'The Great Guide 2.5 - The Great Many Guide' Kim Dae-ho enjoyed the biggest escapade of his life in Laos.
On the 7th episode of MBC Every1's 'The Great Guide 2.5 - The Great Many Guide,' which aired on the 9th, the second part of the Laos trip prepared by "Da Guide" Choi Daniel was revealed. After enjoying the glamorous night view of Vientiane, the cheerful journey of Kim Dae-ho, Park Ji-min, Jeon So-min and Choi Daniel moved to Vang Vieng, where the beauty of nature comes alive, capturing viewers' attention.
That day the Radungi visited an amusement park near the Mekong River and spent their first night in Laos passionately. They were initially taken aback by the local custom where whoever goes first on a ride without queuing is considered the owner, but they soon adapted and had a good time enjoying various rides such as bumper cars, a mini Viking and a Ferris wheel.
In particular, during the bumper car experience, Jeon So-min admired Choi Daniel's skilled driving, saying "sexy and cool," which stirred the studio. Also drawing attention was Park Ji-min's playful charm as she raised her hand and enjoyed herself alone among the Radungi, who screamed from the unexpected thrill on the mini Viking that didn't even have safety restraints.
During free time, the Radungi split into pairs to spend time. Kim Dae-ho and Park Ji-min visited a barbershop for a style makeover. Kim Dae-ho boldly tried a cornrow style in the Tarzan style of ALLDAY PROJECT members, fulfilling a long-cherished wish he had held since his announcer days. Park Ji-min also shed the neatness of an announcer and tried a flashy colored hairstyle. After the transformation, Kim Dae-ho's shocking visual as he strode through the Laos nightlife with a more intense impression gave viewers great laughs.
Meanwhile Choi Daniel and Jeon So-min visited a massage shop to experience a different local massage. Startled for a moment by the suddenly appearing fire, they soon fell for the peculiar charm of the "fire cupping massage." They then experienced a unique massage that involved scraping the entire leg with toothpaste. Jeon So-min's surprise action of bringing her now baby-soft foot to Choi Daniel's cheek after the massage turned the studio upside down.
The next day, the Radungi moved from the capital Vientiane to Vang Vieng, known as the mecca of activities. Upon arrival, amazed by the picturesque natural scenery, they first visited a sandwich stall run by "Vang Vieng aunties." They each ordered sandwiches from the auntie they liked and tasted them, and everyone was satisfied with the taste beyond expectations.
Sitting on the street eating sandwiches and enjoying a youthful movie-like atmosphere, Jeon So-min and Park Ji-min showed excitement when they saw passing British tourists and made an impromptu suggestion to Kim Dae-ho and Choi Daniel, "Will it tear?" which provoked laughter.
After changing clothes at their lodging, the Radungi set off in buggies—the ultimate activity—toward Blue Lagoon, the main destination of the Vang Vieng trip. Park Ji-min, who relieves stress by driving, showed steady and bold driving from the start, but Jeon So-min, who has only theoretical driving experience, repeatedly stalled the engine and broke into a sweat.
In this process, "Da Guide" Choi Daniel explained, "The Blue Lagoon 3 we're going to today is known as the 'secret lagoon,'" raising expectations. Blue Lagoon 3, reached by buggy, boasted scenery that was literally like Shinsegae. Curiosity grows about what kind of time the Radungi will spend here.
Meanwhile, the preview shown at the end of the broadcast amplified curiosity by revealing the scene of Choi Daniel's "major surgery" following the fun activities. Along with this, the final goal of the Laos backpacking trip, "mist tourism," was teased, raising anticipation.
