'Dynamite Kiss' Will Jang Ki-yong go ahead with the engagement even after learning Ahn Eun-jin's secret?
SBS's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Dynamite Kiss' (written by Ha Yoon-ah, Tae Kyung-min / directed by Kim Jae-hyun, Kim Hyun-woo / produced by Studio S, Samhwa Networks) is drawing explosive reactions at home and abroad. Episode 8, which aired on Dec. 4, recorded a 7.1% rating in the Seoul metropolitan area and peaked at 8.5%, setting a series high. That rating ranks first among all channels in the same time slot and first among weekday dramas across all channels. Overseas popularity is also strong. It took Netflix's global non-English top spot for two consecutive weeks (11/24–12/7), asserting the overwhelming status of K-romcoms against stiff worldwide competition.
'Dynamite Kiss' is showing the 'essence of familiar flavor' and prompting viewers worldwide to exclaim, "This is rom-com!" Gong Ji-hyeok hurried the engagement to Yoo Ha-young for the lifelong freedom of his long-suffering mother and for the happiness of Go Da-rim, whom he mistakenly believed to be married. However, just before the engagement ceremony he learned that Go Da-rim is neither a mother nor a married woman. Yet released stills from episode 10 show Gong Ji-hyeok and Yoo Ha-young holding their engagement ceremony. Will Gong Ji-hyeok proceed with the engagement to Yoo Ha-young like this? If so, what will happen to Gong Ji-hyeok's love for Go Da-rim?
Their unusual expressions when Gong Ji-hyeok and Go Da-rim meet at the office also attract attention.
