BTS stood out on Billboard's year-end settlement of account charts.
According to the Year End Charts released by U.S. music outlet Billboard on the 10th, Jimin's solo second album MUSE title track "Who" ranked 57th on the main song chart Hot 100, proving its global impact. The song, released in July 2024, surprised many by appearing on this year's main year-end charts. The song was 29th on the year-end "streaming songs" chart, and MUSE placed third on the "world albums" chart.
"Who" entered the Hot 100 at No. 14 when it was released and remained on the chart for a total of 33 weeks. It also continued its popularity by remaining on the "global (excluding U.S.) latest chart (Dec. 13)" for 72 weeks.
BTS's team power also shone. The anthology album Proof, released in 2022, ranked 10th on the "world albums" chart, and the group ranked sixth on "world album artist." That Proof still remains in the upper ranks of the charts three years after its release reflects the team's brand power and influence.
Members also demonstrated their strength by appearing on numerous global charts through solo activities. On the "global 200," Jimin's "Who" was 21st, Jungkook's solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" was 74th, and Jin's solo second album Echo title track "Don't Say You Love Me" was 151st.
On the "global (excluding U.S.)" chart, "Who," "Seven (feat. Latto)," "Don't Say You Love Me," and J-Hope's solo single "Killin' It Girl (feat. GloRilla)" were 17th, 45th, 116th and 162nd, respectively.
On the "top artists" chart, Jimin ranked 81st, and on the "global 200 artists" chart Jimin (41st) and Jungkook (85th) entered side by side. On the "global (excluding U.S.) artists" chart, Jimin (37th), Jin (42nd), Jungkook (69th) and J-Hope (94th) held positions, showing strong solo influence. In addition, Jimin and Jin ranked fifth and ninth, respectively, on the "world album artists" chart. Jin's solo first album Happy placed 15th on the "world albums" chart and 50th on the "top current album" chart, demonstrating solid album power.
In this way, BTS achieved strong results both as a group and through solo activities on this year's year-end settlement of account charts. Expectations are high that the new record they will release next spring will set records as well. BTS plans to release a new album next spring and embark on a major world tour.
