Singer-actor Seo-hyun, formerly of Girls' Generation, is moving to agency Kkum ENT.
On Dec. 9, the entertainment industry said Seo-hyun recently terminated her contract with Lead Entertainment and signed an exclusive deal with Kkum ENT. It comes seven months after she announced an exclusive contract with Lead Entertainment in May.
Seo-hyun debuted in 2007 with Girls' Generation, then ventured into acting through the SBS drama "Passionate Love" in 2013. She later appeared in SBS's "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" and MBC's "Time."
Kkum ENT is a management company representing actors including Jeon Hye-bin and Kim Ye-eun. Kkum ENT said, "Seo-hyun is an actor who has both a diligent attitude and passion," adding, "We plan to stay by her side with careful attention."
Meanwhile, Seo-hyun is set to meet audiences through the film "In Search of the King," scheduled for a theatrical release in 2026.
