Singer and actor Choi Sooyoung had a special meeting with a fan preparing to study abroad.
Digital media channel dingo released the episode of "You did well today" with Sooyoung on the Dingo Story official YouTube channel at 7 p.m. on the 8th.
"You did well today" is Dingo's killer content produced since 2016, a reality program that visits the daily lives of youths running toward their dreams where stars who achieved their dreams convey support and hope.
This video introduced the story of 20-year-old Jooyoung, an ardent fan of Sooyoung who is preparing to enter a foreign university. Sooyoung, who arrived for the protagonist who said she draws strength from her works and songs whenever she is having a hard time, showed her extraordinary "fan love" by saying, "I know this fan. I remember the name," and recalling a letter she had received from him.
Facing the protagonist, Sooyoung asked, "After reading the letter I thought you are very mature. Why does a 20-year-old like me?" The fan replied teasingly, "Unni, I like you because you are perfect," and "Once I fall into a fandom I can't leave. There's no exit," their back-and-forth chemistry delivering a warm laugh.
The conversation continued about Jeanie TV original drama Idol Eye, starring Sooyoung, which is set to air on the 22nd. Sooyoung, who plays star lawyer Maeng Se-na, a max-level fan in the drama, introduced the work by saying, "The male lead is my bias but becomes a murder suspect. People around him don't believe him so he is alone, and only I, a fan, believe him."
Sooyoung said, "While filming I kept thinking about what that fandom feeling would be," and added, "If you are my fan you might defend me. I thought that someone who really knows me properly rather than someone close to me could be my fan," expressing gratitude toward her fans. "Especially I hope my fans enjoy it more," she added, raising expectations.
Sooyoung visited a leather workshop with the protagonist, who is preparing to study in Australia, to make a one-of-a-kind couple passport wallet. While sewing stitch by stitch, when the protagonist said, "The thread is tangled," Sooyoung advised, "Pull it straight," and encouraged the protagonist about the future by saying, "When life gets tangled going forward, you can deal with it that way."
