Kim Na-young reveals a mother's warm wish for her two sons, Shin-woo and Lee-jun, to experience the puzzle guide of "Puzzle Trip," drawing attention.
MBN's 30th anniversary special three-part series "Puzzle Trip" is a real observation travel program that follows the real Korean travel stories of overseas adoptees who came to Korea to find the missing piece of their puzzle, searching for "me" and "family." It was selected for production support in the public non-drama broadcasting and video content sector by Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) for the 2025 broadcasting and video content public support, and the first episode, broadcast on the 27th, featured puzzle guide Kim Won-hee and Carrie (Lee Eun-jung); the second episode, broadcast on the 4th, featured Choi Soo-jong and puzzle guide Yang Ji-eun with Mike (Jeon Sun-hak); and the final third episode, broadcast on the 11th, will feature puzzle guide Kim Na-young and 24-year-old KT joining the journey of empathy.
"Puzzle Trip," which has stirred heated attention with each broadcast and raised interest in overseas adoptees, attracts attention by releasing a written interview with the final puzzle guide Kim Na-young following Kim Won-hee, Choi Soo-jong and Yang Ji-eun. On "Puzzle Trip," Kim Na-young joins 24-year-old KT, an overseas adoptee who likes K-pop, on a homecoming trip after 23 years. In the process, Kim Na-young invites KT to her home, and scenes of her sharing home-cooked rice and meals with her sons Shin-woo and Lee-jun are revealed, promising to deliver a touching warmth of family love.
On deciding to appear on "Puzzle Trip," Kim Na-young confessed, "A long time ago I appeared on a television program and experienced being a foster mother for a child waiting for adoption," and noted, "Since then I developed a vague interest in adoption," revealing that a weeklong past experience as a foster mother led to her interest in overseas adoptees.
Kim Na-young named her two sons, Shin-woo and Lee-jun, as people she would recommend as puzzle guides. She said, "I think the children's pure and unbiased hearts could communicate well," and added, "After meeting KT, Shin-woo and Lee-jun often ask about their sister KT's well-being," noting the recent condition of her two sons who met KT on "Puzzle Trip," eliciting an automatic smile.
Finally, Kim Na-young said of the journey she shared on "Puzzle Trip," "To me, 'Puzzle Trip' remains a story of great love from small people," revealing it was a meaningful program and offering a touching sentiment. She added a plea to viewers, "I hope you watch it with a warm heart that supports overseas adoptees as they come to Korean soil and find themselves," expressing her special affection.
