Actors Park Gi-woong and Jin Se-yeon open the curtain on a "modern-day Romeo and Juliet" romance through Love Prescriptions.
The production team for the new KBS 2TV weekend drama Love Prescriptions, set to premiere in January 2026 (directed by Han Joon-seo, written by Park Ji-sook), has unveiled a teaser poster capturing the budding excitement between Yang Hyun-bin (played by Park Gi-woong), the executive director of the fashion business division, and clothing designer Gong Joo-ah (played by Jin Se-yeon).
Love Prescriptions is a family make-up drama in which two households bound by a 30-year bad blood resolve misunderstandings, heal each other's wounds and are ultimately reborn as one family.
Park Gi-woong and Jin Se-yeon play Yang Hyun-bin and Gong Joo-ah, first loves left poignantly in their childhoods who, having become archrivals between the two families, meet again by fate as boss and subordinate.
The teaser poster released today (the 9th) shows Park Gi-woong and Jin Se-yeon looking at each other and walking together amid a late-autumn romantic atmosphere. Their honeyed gazes toward each other deliver both fresh excitement and warmth at the same time.
The Love Prescriptions logo at the bottom of the poster also draws attention. The logo, reminiscent of a red ribbon, stimulates romantic sentiment and elevates the work's mood. In particular, the heart inside the speech bubble next to the word "prescription" raises expectations for the cute narrative the two will create.
Regarding this, the production team said, "The perfect chemistry between Park Gi-woong and Jin Se-yeon will more delicately unfold the characters' narratives. We will portray, in an entertaining and pleasant way, the process by which the men and women of the two families bound by bad blood create a bubbly romance, so we ask for your interest and love. It will be a drama that warmly melts the cold winter."
Meanwhile, Love Prescriptions brings together director Han Joon-seo, who showed stylish directing in The Real Has Come! and Love Is Beautiful, Life Is Wonderful, and writer Park Ji-sook, whose solid writing has been recognized in The Tale of Lady Ok, Uncle and My Spring Day.
KBS 2TV's new weekend drama Love Prescriptions is scheduled to premiere on Jan. 31, 2026.
