'No Next Life' Kim Hee-seon transforms into a "cider hero" who throws her whole body into danger without hesitation to eliminate life-threatening situations.
General programming channel TV CHOSUN Monday-Tuesday miniseries 'No Next Life' (written by Shin I-won, directed by Kim Jeong-min) is a story of conflicts and reconciliation arising from the deepening worries and complex human relationships of the 40-something generation at a turning point in life. The story of struggling to survive in social life evokes realistic empathy and has received favorable reviews. On the 8th, episode 9 of 'No Next Life' recorded a peak minute rating of 4.1% according to Nielsen Korea, proving an unbroken upward streak by setting a new personal best rating for the third consecutive episode.
In the previous broadcast, Jo Na-jung (Kim Hee-seon) awakened by her son's lie drew attention with a "do-or-die all-out war declaration ending," standing side by side holding hands with her husband No Won-bin (played by Yoon Bak), who had been disciplined after being falsely accused.
In episode 10 of 'No Next Life,' airing at 10 p.m. on the 9th, Kim Hee-seon takes steps to clear her husband Yoon Bak's name and to save Go Won-hee, who is in danger, in a scene of "unyielding frontal breakthrough." In the drama, Jo Na-jung, who had stepped forward for her husband No Won-bin, is pushed over by Kim Jeong-sik (played by Lee Gwan-hoon) and tumbles on the floor, then, disguised in a black hooded jumper, holds Song Ye-na's (played by Go Won-hee) hand and faces someone. Whether Jo Na-jung will be able to save Song Ye-na and ultimately clear her husband No Won-bin's name has become a matter of intense interest.
Meanwhile, Kim Hee-seon fired up the set by unleashing full-power energy with a fighting spirit that spared no effort in the "cider hero transformation" scenes. Despite the risk of injury, Kim Hee-seon threw herself onto the bare floor and poured out enthusiasm, and with flawless acting she executed the subtle shifts in emotion—from shock and fear to anger and determination—completing the "Jo Na-jung-style narrative." Moreover, Kim Hee-seon provoked breathtaking tension in each scene with her characteristic resolute gaze and vivid dramatic performance, earning thumbs-up on set.
The production team said, "This is a scene in which Kim Hee-seon pours out her resolute will with her whole body to clear her husband Yoon Bak's unjust accusation," and added, "Please check Kim Hee-seon's performance in episode 10 (today), where she will properly unleash a cider-level tension against the villains who distorted the truth through concealment and manipulation."
'No Next Life' is a comic coming-of-age story about three friends who are 41, exhausted by the same daily routine, the war of childcare and the grind of work, stumbling toward a better "complete life."
