In 'Oh Eun-young report - marriage hell' the couple engaged in a battle over the truth regarding the husband's repeated violent outbursts and suspicions of infidelity.
On the 8th episode aired, MBC's 'Oh Eun-young report - marriage hell' (hereinafter 'Marriage hell') featured a 'separate-house couple' who have lived apart for 15 years and do not even eat together, let alone talk.
The wife confessed that her husband's violent outbursts were repeated every day throughout their marriage and said, "I really lived in fear," shocking viewers. The wife's confession suggested that the husband's alcohol-related violence was not a one-time incident but a daily terror.
The wife then made a more shocking remark about the husband's past suspected infidelity. She revealed that after the husband "met a woman and dated her for more than six months and then heard (from her) 'I'm glad I didn't break up with you,'" he lived hearing that, surprising everyone. This claims that after experiencing an affair, the husband indirectly acknowledged the fact to his wife.
Seeing this in the studio, the husband immediately rebutted. He said he had no memory at all of the affair-related remarks his wife exposed and asked back, "Did you make up a story that never happened?" He firmly insisted, "I have no memory (of having an affair)," denying the affair outright.
The husband did admit that he prioritized his business over his family. However, he continued to deny the affair to the end and pleaded injustice toward his wife, adding, "Don't demonize me like that."
