The Tving original 'Superrace Freestyle,' which created a new landscape for domestic motorsports entertainment, is attracting viewers' interest and accelerating the popularization of racing.
'Superrace Freestyle' is set on Korea's largest motorsports event 'O-NE (O-NE) Superrace Championship,' and is the country's first freestyle tuning racing entertainment in which top drivers compete for a 100 million won first prize.
After purchasing a stock vehicle, the show introduced the 'freestyle tuning rule,' which allows all tuning of engine·chassis·aerodynamics within a budget of 100 million won, maximizing the appeal of car racing by fully revealing drivers' skill, sense, and competitive spirit.
The program brings together actual Superrace alumni racers Lee Chang-wook, Noh Dong-gi, Choi Kwang-bin, Hwang Jin-woo, and Kim Dong-eun to stage competitions as intense as real matches. Rising stars Kim Hwa-rang·Kim Si-woo, comedian-turned-racer Han Min-gwan, and 'drift queen' Park Si-hyun also join to create both speed competition and drama. The presence of celebrity manager teams cannot be overlooked. Dan-ian, Yui, Yoon Bo-mi, Jung Hyuk, and Seung-hee pair one-on-one with racers to form each team's unique narrative.
Responses from newly arrived viewers as well as racing enthusiasts are clear.
