Lee Min-woo of the group Shinhwa has become a father.
According to the music industry on the 9th, Lee Min-woo's wife gave birth to a daughter on the afternoon of the previous day. Both the mother and baby are said to be healthy.
Lee Min-woo and his wife, identified as A, met at a gathering of acquaintances in 2013 and developed a romantic relationship. A is said to be a third-generation Korean Japanese.
Because A has a daughter from a previous marriage, Lee Min-woo has become the father of two daughters.
In Aug., on the KBS 2TV variety program Mr. House Husband season 2 (Salimnam), Lee appeared and said, "The baby was conceived during a trip to Yangyang," adding, "We chose 'Yangyang' as the prenatal nickname."
In the episode that aired on the 6th, Lee also said, "I've been building up my stamina and quit smoking for the baby who will be born soon."
Meanwhile, Lee Min-woo has scheduled a wedding ceremony with A for next spring.
