Director James Cameron of the film Avatar: The Seed Bearer left a direct message of thanks to audiences ahead of the release.
On the 9th, the film Avatar: The Seed Bearer (director James Cameron, imported/distributed by Walt Disney Company Korea, abbreviated "Avatar 3") announced that 10 days before release, as of the 8th it had risen to No. 1 in overall advance bookings and boasted more than a 35% booking rate, standing tall as the most talked-about film at year-end theaters, and delivered a message from director James Cameron.
The released footage heightens tension by portraying not only Avatar 3's wondrous visuals but also the many Na'vi who go into battle alongside the Sully family, and the epic clash between the RDA and the fire tribe Baran, including Colonel Miles Quaritch. Along with this, James Cameron's greeting raises expectations for the film even further.
Director James Cameron said, "A new act of the Avatar series opens. You will encounter an overwhelming experience that can only be felt in theaters, with deeper emotion and scale," predicting that this work will once again deliver an unprecedented cinematic experience to audiences worldwide. He added, "The reason the series can continue to expand is all because of your passionate love. Come with me back to Pandora," offering thanks and adding a special touch.
Receiving praise reactions such as "a work that reaffirms the reason for theaters' existence" (Variety), Avatar: The Seed Bearer, which will surely set the world ablaze again this year-end, tells the story of an even greater crisis unfolding on a Pandora covered in fire and seed after the death of Jake and Neytiri's first son, Neteyam, leaving the Sully family in mourning and the arrival of the fire tribe led by Baran. It is the third film in the Avatar series, which drew 13.62 million viewers domestically and achieved worldwide box office success, and it will have its world premiere in Korea on the 17th.
