(Following interview ①) Comedian Lee Suji revealed that she received a separate message from actor Lee Je-hoon at "Sisters' teahouse."
Lee Suji and Jung Irang held a joint interview on the morning of the 9th at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. At this meeting they met with domestic reporters and talked about the Coupang Play variety show "Sisters' teahouse."
"Sisters' teahouse" is Suji·Irang sisters' chat with a spoonful of conversation and two spoonfuls of romance, a teahouse talk show enjoyed with top star guests. Jung Irang and Lee Suji, who earned praise for consecutive performances from "SNL Korea" to "Office Workers," present a new variety show that draws laughter.
In particular, the lead actors of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama "Taxi Driver 3" visited "Sisters' teahouse" to promote the work, drawing great attention. Among them, actors Lee Je-hoon and Kim Eui-sung were praised for their effortless ad-libs.
I Suji, who confessed, "I actually have 'star stage fright'," said, "When famous people come, I can't even make eye contact. But once the camera is rolling, I have the attitude of 'the camera is on, so let's try it.' Before going in I'm intimidated, but when the camera is on I relax, and as the older person I'm given a character that talks down, so I put that down and film. Surely previously I was tense thinking, 'Next week Kim Eui-sung hyungnim, Lee Je-hoon will be here.' But when I actually go in they receive me so well," she said.
She went on, "In particular, actor Kim Eui-sung received me so well," she marveled. She also joked about the bridal wedding ad-lib with Lee Je-hoon that became a hot topic, saying, "That was an ad-lib. I put my flirting techniques from my dating days into 'Sisters' teahouse,'" and added, "They received it so well," clicking her tongue.
Jung Irang also laughed, "It was a feeling I had never experienced before. They actually asked us to take photos for them. Famous people asking me to take their photos. I was grateful to and pleased with the 'Sisters' teahouse' production staff. I went home and bragged to my daughter. The guests said they asked their mom to take their photos, she said."
In fact, after the recording Lee Je-hoon also contacted them. Lee Suji immediately brushed her hair back and, seeming immersed in the moment, acted and made people laugh, saying, "He contacted me first. Mr. Lee Je-hoon contacted me. He said he had a great time. Actually we took photos that day. He sent the photos and said he was enjoying it so much and would cheer us on, so we invited him to YouTube," she said. Jung Irang laughed, "I'm not bold so I couldn't do that. I just 'saved' it in my heart."
