ARrC member Hyunmin proved his all-around abilities by participating as the voice actor for "Tobot Pop."
Hyunmin was cast as a voice actor in the popular animation Tobot: Heroes of the Metropolis Season 3 (hereinafter "Tobot") in September, and a recent interview in which he participated as a voice actor was released.
In the released interview, Hyunmin once again revealed that he has been an enormous fan of "Tobot" since childhood, showing his authenticity and affection for the work. He then surprised listeners by revealing that, thanks to consistently promoting himself as a devoted listener of "Tobot" through a fan communication platform, he had the opportunity to audition as a voice actor.
In particular, mentioning "Tobot"'s memorable scenes, Hyunmin said, "I felt there is an emotion that embraces the whole world. I liked the narrative of everyone joining forces to overcome difficulties," and added, "I want to continue learning and awakening now, and become a guide as a good leader so that ARrC can move in a better direction with my team members," expressing his aspirations and attracting attention.
The "Tobot Pop" Hyunmin voiced is the franchise's first character to combine K-pop and robots. Despite it being his first voice-acting challenge, Hyunmin not only perfectly assimilated into a core "Tobot" character but also participated in singing the insert song "Chuka Chuka" with a sweet tone and delicate expressiveness, showing his all-around abilities.
Regarding this, Hyunmin said, "Tobot Pop is generally cheerful, but I wanted to show a side that becomes serious in scenes where he opens his heart," emphasizing the contrast between extreme situations and proving his outstanding ability to interpret the character.
As Hyunmin has flawlessly handled voice acting following his main work as a singer and demonstrated versatile skills, attention is focused on what further activities he will show in the future.
