Comedian Park Narae has announced a suspension of activities, and the new variety show she was set to appear in, "Nado Sinna," which was about to be unveiled, has been fully canceled.
On the 8th, OSEN reported that the broadcast of MBC's new variety show "Nado Sinna," scheduled to premiere in January 2026, was fully canceled.
The cancellation of "Nado Sinna"s scheduling was decided as a result of the fallout from main cast member Park Narae's suspension of activities. That morning Park Narae expressed deep responsibility for the recent controversies and announced her intention to suspend all activities. Respecting that, the "Nado Sinna" production team decided to fully cancel the broadcast.
"Nado Sinna" is a travel variety show in which close friends who know each other better than family — Park Narae, Jang Doyoun, Shin Giru, and Heo Anna — go on a trip with no filter, no context and no restraint. In particular, it drew great interest from the planning stage as a meeting of the production teams of MBC's flagship variety shows "Radio Star" and "Adventure by Accident" with the four trend-setting female comedians.
However, the program was grounded after cast member Park Narae became embroiled in controversy. On the 3rd, she was hit with a real estate seizure application at the Seoul Western District Court by former managers. The former managers alleged they suffered abuse of power while working at Park Narae's one-person agency, including verbal abuse, special injury, proxy prescriptions, unpaid hosting fees, and being on standby for personal errands, among other so-called "gapjil" abuses. In addition, it became known that Park Narae had been accused of medical law violations by receiving proxy prescriptions and psychotropic drugs from a person known as the so-called "injection aunt," and of violating the Popular Culture and Arts Industry Development Act for operating an unregistered one-person agency, which caused shock.
In response, on the 5th Park Narae's side rebutted in a first statement that two employees who had worked for about one year and three months demanded an additional 10% of the company's sales after leaving despite receiving proper severance pay, and when that was refused they continued to cause unnecessary misunderstanding and pressure with claims that differed from the facts, so they decided to take legal action. They also said that regarding the allegations of receiving illegal medical treatment, the medical person known as the "injection aunt" had provided a house call.
That day Park Narae released a statement on her personal social media saying, "In early November two managers who had been like family suddenly resigned, and until recently we were not given an opportunity to talk with them, so misunderstandings built up between us," adding, "With the help of many people, I was finally able to meet face to face with the former managers yesterday, and while we were able to resolve misunderstandings and distrust between us, I still believe everything is my fault and I am deeply reflecting on it."
She also said, "As a comedian whose job is to bring laughter and joy, I decided to suspend broadcast activities until everything is neatly resolved because I felt I could no longer be a nuisance to programs and colleagues," and announced she would step down from all broadcasts.
