Navi: "I accuse my husband of being distracted by other things"…a marriage ruined by cellphone addiction after 7 years
The real married life of singer Navi and her husband is revealed for the first time on SBS' "Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2 – You Are My Destiny." Debuting 18 years ago as an emotional vocal, Navi exposed her husband Jo Seong-hwan's changed behavior on the show, stirring the studio.
At a previously recorded taping, Navi began with a heavy expression, saying, "I've come to accuse my husband of being distracted by other things." Navi's husband Jo Seong-hwan, a former soccer player with a striking 183cm physique, immediately drew attention with his handsome looks reminiscent of actor Lee Sang-yi and singer Lee Joon. Navi also joked, "Among the residents we are called the 'Bedford Beckham and Victoria couple,'" drawing laughter.
Especially, Jo Seong-hwan was known during their dating days as a loving man who seemed like a combination of Choi Soo-jong, Sean and Cha In-pyo. However, Navi warned of a shocking twist, saying, "The man who used to look only at me and love only me completely changed after marriage." Even her close friend Lee Ji-hye, hearing this, exclaimed, "I don't think I could live like that either," unable to hide her shock.
The footage shown revealed a chilly atmosphere from the morning. As soon as he opened his eyes, husband Jo Seong-hwan left the master bedroom and went straight to another room, fixing his gaze on his cellphone and not getting involved in housework or childcare at all. When contact was cut off, Navi said, "I will make a decision," and went out into the night to find her husband herself. Even residents came forward with testimony saying, "We didn't see him today," and the situation reached a breaking point.
In a pre-release video posted on SBS' YouTube channel on the 8th, the couple's conflict was also revealed. Jo Seong-hwan was absorbed in his cellphone from dawn, and Navi lamented, "He used to be an angel who only knew me, but now he's distracted by other things and doesn't pay attention to me."
