Comedian Park Narae announced a halt to her activities amid a dispute with her former managers, and as a result the new variety show na-do-sinna, which was about to be released, has been entirely canceled. The ambitious new program, which had raised expectations as a female version of Adventure by Accident, failed to materialize, leaving regret.
On the 8th, OSEN exclusively reported that production of MBC's new variety show na-do-sinna had been completely canceled. Because it was scheduled to air its first episode in January 2026, the new program evaporated entirely with just a month left before the broadcast.
Na-do-sinna is a travel variety show starring the four comedian close friends who know each other better than their families: Park Narae, Jang Doyoun, Shin Giru and Heo Anna. It had drawn interest as a "three no's" travel show — no filter, no context, no restraint. In particular, from the planning stage there was hope it could become a female version of Adventure by Accident because it was a meeting of MBC's flagship variety show production teams, Radio Star and Adventure by Accident, and the four popular comedians.
But this morning (the 8th), after Park Narae announced she would halt activities, na-do-sinna was completely canceled. The program's title even takes one syllable from each member's name — Park 'Na'rae, Jang 'Do'youn, 'Shin' Giru, Heo An'na' — and given Park Narae's substantial share of the filmed footage, it was said the show's concept could not be realized without her.
Moreover, Park Narae personally emphasized reflection and announced her intention to halt activities. It appears the decision was made so responsibility for Park Narae's footage would not be shifted onto the remaining members and the production team. Accordingly, the first teaser video for na-do-sinna, released on the 4th, was also deleted from YouTube and other platforms, disappearing without a trace.
On the 3rd, Park Narae was accused by former managers of filing for a provisional seizure of real estate, failing to register a one-person agency, illegal medical procedures and abuses of power. The former managers alleged they witnessed abuses such as verbal abuse, aggravated assault, unpaid hosting fees, constant on-call duty and personal errands, as well as illegal medical procedures including proxy prescriptions and the dispensing of controlled psychotropic drugs through a "needle aunt."
On the 5th, Park Narae's side rebutted in an initial statement that the former managers left without raising issues, that despite receiving proper severance they demanded 10% of sales, and when that was refused they continued to press false claims causing unnecessary misunderstanding and pressure, prompting a decision to take legal action. They also said the "needle aunt" was a medical professional who made home visits.
This morning Park Narae posted on social media, "In early November two managers who had lived like family suddenly resigned, and until recently we had not been given a chance to talk with them, so misunderstandings accumulated between us. With the help of many people, I was able to meet the former managers only yesterday, and although we were able to resolve the misunderstandings and mistrust between us, I still believe everything is my fault and I am deeply reflecting on it. As a comedian whose job is to bring laughter and joy, I decided to suspend broadcasting activities until everything is neatly resolved because I cannot cause further trouble to the program and my colleagues," expressing her intention to halt activities.
