Singer Son Tae-jin painted Seoul orange.
Son Tae-jin held the "2025 Son Tae-jin national tour concert 'It's Son Time'" (hereafter "It's Son Time") successfully at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul, on the 6th and 7th, signaling a vigorous start to the national tour.
That day Son Tae-jin opened with staging that depicted his process from leaving the waiting room to going on stage, appearing in the venue on a lift and passionately singing "Flower," one of the triple title tracks from his first full-length album "SHINE," launching a dazzling opening.
He then heated up the atmosphere with covers of famous pop songs such as "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" and "Put Your Head On My Shoulder," and flawlessly performed Korean songs including "The very first confession," "Everything will be all right," and "Because you are here again." In addition, Son Tae-jin proved his boundless musical range by filling the stage with diverse genres with songs such as "The third hangang bridge," "What life is," "APT.," "Twist of love," and "Nest."
Son Tae-jin's signature varied emotional lines also shone. Son Tae-jin expressed numerous emotions through song—love's excitement, parting, longing, consolation—evoking deep emotion. He also displayed sensuous staging such as "Whale hunting," which featured waves and lighting so impressive it seemed as if the actual sea had been moved onto the stage. Notably, he performed the new song "Melody of love" live on an official stage for the first time, prompting an unprecedented mass singalong that filled the venue.
In addition, Son Tae-jin parodied various famous movie scenes through well-timed VCRs. He did not hesitate to cross-dress and perform dual roles, delivering great laughs to fans. He also fostered closer interaction with fans in attendance through concepts such as an impromptu singing class.
After successfully completing the Seoul performance, Son Tae-jin said, "I hope this evening remains a good memory and is cherished for a long time. I thank everyone who took the time to come on such a wonderful day, and I am grateful for the courage to stand on stage and sing each time," and added, "We were able to mark the start of the national tour on a high note thanks to the fans. I will do my best to sing at the upcoming Daegu and Busan performances."
Son Tae-jin will hold "It's Son Time" in Daegu on the 20th and 21st and in Busan on the 24th and 25th, continuing to meet fans nationwide.
