The group BABYMONSTER consolidated its presence as the "next-generation global girl group" after drawing 150,000 spectators on its first Japan tour in the first half of this year and then attracting 100,000 people at its first fan concert of the second half.
BABYMONSTER held "BABYMONSTER [LOVE MONSTERS] JAPAN FAN CONCERT 2025" at Hyogo ZO Rion Arena Kobe over two days on the 6th and 7th. The finale performances sold out both days, and the group's growth was clearly visible in the decision to expand to a larger arena than last year's Kobe fan meeting.
The first Japan fan concert took place across eight shows in four arena-class cities — Chiba, Tokyo, Nagoya and Kobe — drawing 100,000 in-person attendees. The Tokyo performance was broadcast live on TBS to reach even more viewers, and the relay pop-up stores run in each city were crowded every day, proving the group's explosive popularity.
From the start, the venue was filled with roaring cheers befitting a finale. BABYMONSTER opened with major hits such as "WE GO UP," "SHEESH" and "DRIP," unleashing intense energy. Lively live vocals using handheld microphones and dynamic performances crisscrossing the stage, combined with fans' cheers, overwhelmed the venue with an immersive sense of being there.
Song, performance and fan service came together in perfect harmony. The wide set list, which included the group's first original Japanese song "Ghost" and tracks from mini album 2 [WE GO UP], was enhanced by YG's signature live band sound and special effects. Skilled Japanese communication, dance challenges, moving cars, sign balls and various other events added to the enjoyment of the concert.
BABYMONSTER said, "Thanks to Monsteez we were able to stand on such a big stage. We hope our music makes your daily life a little happier, and we will keep working hard for Monsteez," and added, "Every moment we shared at the fan concert will remain a special memory. We hope it became a good memory for you as well. We thank Monsteez for filling this place."
Having successfully concluded "BABYMONSTER [LOVE MONSTERS] JAPAN FAN CONCERT 2025," BABYMONSTER will continue meeting Asian fans with performances at Bangkok Impact Arena on the 27th and 28th and at Taipei Arena on Jan. 2 and 3, 2026.
