Singer Jeong Seung-hwan zeroed in on winter sentiment and completed a warm year-end.
Jeong Seung-hwan held his solo concert "2025 Jeong Seung-hwan's Goodbye, Winter: Called Love" (hereafter "Goodbye, winter") at the Ticketlink Live Arena in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul from the 5th to the 7th.
"Goodbye, winter" is a branded year-end concert Jeong Seung-hwan has held every year since 2018, except during his military service. Jeong Seung-hwan offered the essence of balladry, delivering deep immersion with not only his signature songs but also a winter-optimized setlist amid various productions such as a 360-degree stage.
First greeting fans with "I Will," Jeong Seung-hwan raised the early atmosphere of the concert with songs such as "Unfinished" and "Back View," then amplified the deep aftertaste with "Confession of December 25" and "Snowman."
Jeong Seung-hwan then consecutively performed signature songs such as "If It Were You," "You Fool," and "Same Place," showcasing his distinctive sensibility. He delicately sang emotions he had built plainly, further raising the concert's temperature.
In particular, Jeong Seung-hwan delighted fans with both laughter and tears through a tightly arranged "timid wish-fulfillment medley" that tied together fan-requested songs like "Just One More Day," "Are You Doing Well," and "The Time I Loved You," and a "Gamdasal medley" that coherently arranged cover stages such as Noel's "Proposal," Sung Si-kyung's "Smile Angel," Roy Kim's "If You Asked Me What Love Is," and Park Hyo-shin's "Flower of Snow."
Jeong Seung-hwan also performed many tracks from his full-length album "Called Love," released after about seven years. He sang various feelings of love with the double title tracks "Happiness Is Hard" and "Bangs." He conveyed matured musical depth intact with the dreamlike sound of "Planet," which stands out like drifting in zero gravity, and the self-composed "Embrace," written thinking of his mother.
After successfully concluding the year-end concert, Jeong Seung-hwan said, "It felt new to be able to greet fans with 'Goodbye, winter' after about three years. I was happy to leave another precious page of memories that will warm the cold winter together with the fans."
