An internet user who raised allegations that comedian Cho Sae-ho was involved with organized crime has again promised additional revelations.
On the 8th, an internet user A using the nickname 'Pyo geomsa' posted an additional exposé about Cho Sae-ho on his personal account.
He said, "I thought a lot over the weekend," and added, "Actually, I'm also a person and I'm afraid of gangsters." He continued, "People around me keep asking if I took money, but absolutely not," and insisted, "I didn't receive a single 1,000-won bill, and even if someone offered to sponsor me, I would never accept it."
He added, "From tomorrow I will fight one by one until the truth wins," and said, "I have received many tips about gambling money laundering tomorrow, so I'll post about that. Please don't just keep saying you will sue the comedian Cho Sae-ho whom I like; explain yourself like a man."
A previously claimed that Cho Sae-ho was close friends with Mr. Choi, the leader of the largest organization in the Geochang area who is allegedly a gang member running an illegal online gambling site and laundering funds. In particular, he alleged that Cho Sae-ho promoted Mr. Choi's franchise restaurants and received expensive gifts as payment. As evidence, he repeatedly pointed to circumstances such as photos that appear to show Cho Sae-ho and Mr. Choi together at a drinking gathering and Mr. Choi attending Cho Sae-ho's wedding, suggesting he even knows Cho Sae-ho's wife.
However, in response, Cho Sae-ho's side drew a line, saying Mr. Choi is merely an acquaintance and that allegations of paid gifts are "baseless." They also announced plans to take legal action over false information. A later deleted some of the initial posts about the exposé. But after again mentioning additional revelations about Cho Sae-ho's alleged ties to organized crime, A is drawing attention.
A has continued an unrestrained course, including posting warning messages to Mr. Choi such as "This is a fight you cannot win" and "You could be seriously hurt," and publicly sharing a Telegram address for a mobile messenger to receive related tips, causing further confusion.
The following is the full text of A's post announcing additional revelations.
