TWICE makes new history.
TWICE announced on the afternoon of the 7th on its official Japanese SNS channel the news that it will hold three solo concerts at the Tokyo National Stadium, along with an additional performance poster for its sixth world tour
According to this, TWICE will hold three 360-degree open solo concerts at the Tokyo National Stadium, the venue with the highest local symbolism, on April 25, 26 and 28, 2026. TWICE is the first overseas artist to hold a solo concert at the Tokyo National Stadium.
As this is part of the world tour "THIS IS FOR," where 360-degree seating will be opened, it is expected to be the largest scale ever, accommodating about 80,000 spectators per show and drawing a cumulative audience of about 240,000 over three shows.
In September, TWICE drew a total of 400,000 spectators on its Japan dome tour as part of this world tour. At the end of the final dome tour performance at the Tokyo Dome, they said they would "move on to a bigger stage" and announced additional local performances in 2026. With confirmation of the first overseas artist to enter the Tokyo National Stadium, attention from fans worldwide is focused on this meaningful move that not only expands scale but also advances them one step further as a "global top girl group."
Recently, TWICE earned RIAA platinum certification—the first for a K-pop girl group—from the Recording Industry Association of America for the mini album No. 14 track "Strategy," released on Dec. 6, 2024. Following 17 weeks on Billboard's main chart the Hot 100, they added to their global achievements by receiving platinum certification, the highest RIAA level for a K-pop girl group.
In a landmark year marking their 10th anniversary since debut, TWICE, after repeated infinite growth, is expected to continue its activities and further expand its worldwide presence.
