On the 3rd, Park Narae was served with an application for provisional seizure of real estate at the Seoul Western District Court by former managers. The former managers claimed they suffered so-called 'power abuse' including verbal abuse while working at Park Narae's one-person agency, special injury, proxy prescriptions, nonpayment of production fees, and being on standby for personal errands at all times.
Starting with this, it became known that Park Narae had been accused of violations such as violating the Medical Service Act by receiving proxy prescriptions and psychotropic drugs from a person known as the so-called 'injection aunt,' and violating the Popular Culture and Arts Industry Development Act for not registering a one-person agency, which caused shock.
In response, Park Narae's side rebutted in a first statement on the 5th that two employees who had worked for about 1 year and 3 months demanded an additional 10% of the company's sales after leaving despite having been paid proper severance pay, and when this was refused they continued unnecessary misunderstandings and pressure with claims that were not true, so they decided to take legal action. They also claimed that the alleged illegal medical procedure was a house call provided by the medical professional 'injection aunt.'
At the same time, a person recently known as Park Narae's 'injection aunt' claimed on a personal account, "About 12 to 13 years ago I traveled back and forth to Inner Mongolia and studied with difficulty, and I served as the youngest Professor Choi Yeon-su at the Pogang Medical College Hospital in Inner Mongolia, the first among foreigners and locals."
A said, "Director, thanks to the consideration of the head of the plastic surgery department and active help with recruiting in Inner Mongolia, we were able to attract the Korea Plastic Surgery Center. On the 7th, one of the medical groups, the Association of Doctors for a Fair Society (Gong-uimo), issued a statement saying, "The Pogang medical school that A claimed to have attended is a ghost medical school. As Gong-uimo confirmed, the medical college called Pogang Medical College (which A claimed to have attended) did not exist."
According to Gong-uimo, the number of medical colleges in China is confirmed to be between 162 and 171 depending on counting methods. Among them, although Inner Mongolia is one of China's 33 provincial-level administrative regions, 'Inner Mongolia Pogang Medical College' cannot be found in the materials of China's official medical school accreditation body, the National Committee for Clinical Medical Education Institutions.
Gong-uimo also emphasized that even if the 'injection aunt' graduated from a Chinese medical college, practicing medicine in Korea would be clearly 'illegal.' They explained, "Graduates of Chinese medical colleges are not granted eligibility to take the Korean medical licensing examination. Even if A graduated from an accredited Chinese medical school and holds a Chinese medical license, Korea does not recognize graduates of Chinese medical colleges. Therefore, it is fundamentally impossible for a graduate of a Chinese medical school to obtain a medical license in Korea."
As the controversy grew, on the 8th Park Narae issued a direct statement saying, "In early November, two managers who were like family suddenly resigned, and until recently we were not given an opportunity to talk with them, so misunderstandings accumulated between us," the statement said.
Park Narae said, "With your help, I was able to meet the former managers only yesterday, and although we were able to resolve misunderstandings and distrust between us, I still believe this is all my fault and I am deeply reflecting," she said.
Park Narae said she is a comedian whose job is to bring laughter and joy, and believing she could no longer be a nuisance to programs and colleagues, she decided to suspend broadcasting activities until everything is neatly resolved. She bowed deeply and apologized again to those who believed in and supported her.
