Comedian Park Mi-seon revealed her battle with breast cancer.
Park Mi-seon said on the 7th, "This photo was taken when I was at the hospital. After becoming ill I became a bit timid, and there are many people who are sick so I was cautious about seeming overly dramatic, but more people than I expected sympathized and said they gained strength, so I uploaded to YouTube again today."
She went on, "I hope even a few people watch the video and gain strength. To everyone who is sick and everyone who is struggling, stay strong — it will all pass, fighting!!!!" she said, encouraging fellow patients.
In the photo she released, Park Mi-seon's hair, which she had shaved completely for chemotherapy, has begun to grow back. Her brightly smiling face draws attention.
Recently on tvN's You Quiz on the Block, Park Mi-seon shared an update, saying, "Many women cry when they cut their hair. But as it grew back I thought it was okay," and added, "I thought when else will I have hair like this, so I happily shaved my head. I even wore a suit and took a profile photo; even now I think it was the right thing to do," sharing a positive outlook.
