AOA alumnus singer Choa spoke up about the allegations directed at her.
On the 5th, a video titled "Lawyer, you haven't tried the balance game, have you?" was posted on the YouTube channel "PangPang Lawyer."
That day, attorney Kim Tae-hyung invited Choa to talk and asked, "I've seen so many people suffer from defamation, malicious comments and stalking. Have you ever experienced anything like that?"
Choa said, "I haven't experienced stalking. As for malicious comments and things like deepfakes, those could be a form of attention, so I just won't take action. But recently I rested for a while, and there have been talks like 'this happened, that happened.' When I stayed quiet, it felt like they became taken as established facts."
She added, "For things that cross the line too much, I will pursue them," and recalled, "Over the past one to two years I've seen lawyers. It was a tumultuous year where unintended problems arose."
Meanwhile, Choa debuted as an AOA member in 2012 but left the group in June 2017.
After her departure, marriage rumors surfaced, but she directly clarified, "I left the group when I was in a period I liked, so people didn't seem to understand. People said, 'Is there any reason to quit unless it's marriage?' and rumors kept spreading. I didn't get married. I'm hoping to get married."
Also, when she was recently engulfed in speculation over a changed face, she posted a photo with the caption "already a month ago" to indirectly explain.
