"Infinite Challenge" universe is again evoking fondness through Park Myung-soo and Jung Joon-ha's "Hawasu."
On the 6th, the "Hawasu" video released on YouTube posted a video titled "Hawasu x Lives of Others | "Did your phone number change..?" a meeting that moves between abyss and warmth." The released video depicted Park Myung-soo and Jung Joon-ha reuniting with Professor Kim Dong-hwan and Ms. Lee Ye-jin, who had appeared on Infinite Challenge's "Lives of Others" special.
Infinite Challenge, which first began broadcasting in 2006, is marking its 20th year on the air this year, stirring nostalgia among the program's listeners. Among them, Hawasu's content that recalls the Infinite Challenge special also drew attention.
Moreover, the changes in Professor Kim Dong-hwan and Ms. Lee Ye-jin drew more attention, suggesting the passage of 20 years. First, Professor Kim Dong-hwan said, "(On Infinite Challenge) I was a junior professor. Now I have become the chief," creating a warm feeling.
In particular, Ms. Lee Ye-jin was 12 when she appeared on Infinite Challenge in the past, but 14 years later she reunited at age 26 as a proper adult. Park Myung-soo said, "She was a child then," expressing surprise, and he took care of Ms. Lee Ye-jin's health, who had previously undergone brain aneurysm surgery. Ms. Lee Ye-jin said, "I am used to it now," and "I joined a public institution," revealing her healthy recent status and adding relief.
Jung Joon-ha said, "How much effort must she have made?" expressing emotion, and Park Myung-soo added, "I think my child was about 4 years old then. So when I see Ye-jin, I feel like she is my own child," adding to the sentiment.
It seems Infinite Challenge's specials, which still evoke viewers' memories and nostalgia, have been realized through Hawasu. Accordingly, Hawasu's future moves are drawing more attention.
