Seo Jang-hoon heads outdoors for the first time in nine years.
On the 7th episode of SBS My Little Old Boy, Seo Jang-hoon and Tak Jae-hoon will serve as travel guides for the mother vengers and compete in opposite-style tours.
That day Seo Jang-hoon said it was his first time going outdoors since he began hosting My Little Old Boy nine years ago, raising expectations. Seo Jang-hoon, who says he knows mothers best on behalf of their busy sons, and Tak Jae-hoon, who has never met the mothers before, will serve as travel guides and go on a trip with the mother vengers. In addition, the sons Kim Hee-cheul, Lee Dong-gun, Choi Jin-hyuk and Heo Kyung-hwan will appear in the studio for the first time to watch the trip, further heightening anticipation.
First, meeting the mother vengers at the airport, Seo Jang-hoon and Tak Jae-hoon began tending to the mothers in their own ways from the start and warily eyeing each other, drawing laughter. Seo Jang-hoon, who has spent a long time with the mothers, carefully looked after them, while Tak Jae-hoon won their laughter with witty jokes. In particular, Tak Jae-hoon boasted a special chemistry by giving an impromptu nickname, saying he is only 11 years younger than Choi Jin-hyuk's mother, turning the studio into a sea of laughter.
But the warm atmosphere was short-lived; before the trip properly began, a dizzying crisis occurred that even made the sons nervous in an unprecedented incident. The mother vengers looked ashen, and Heo Kyung-hwan, watching in the studio, showed agitation, saying "I feel like crying." Even Seo Jang-hoon, who had remained composed, could not hide his embarrassment, asking "Is this real? I can't believe it." The incident arouses curiosity about what the story could be.
After arriving in Okinawa, Japan, Seo Jang-hoon, true to his reputation as a "mother expert," won favor by thoughtfully bringing snacks and sterilizing wipes for the mothers, and raised their satisfaction by choosing and guiding them to restaurants they would like. Seeing unique scenery and menu items hard to find in ordinary restaurants, Choi Jin-hyuk's mother said "It compares to my son," shocking Choi Jin-hyuk, who was watching. Also, revealing a secret that made everyone burst into laughter, Choi Jin-hyuk said "There were moments when I actually wanted to close the door," referring to his mother's lifelong rule of never closing the door at home, which drew attention to that story.
Meanwhile, Tak Jae-hoon, who had prepared a next plan, teased the mothers' satisfaction and raised curiosity about his tour by saying "My tour is still waiting tonight! Please look forward to it."
The Okinawa trip of the "interfering guide" Seo Jang-hoon and the "grumbling guide" Tak Jae-hoon can be seen on SBS My Little Old Boy, airing Sunday the 7th at 9 p.m.
