Actor Lee Sun-bin, who appears on tvN's 'House on Wheels - Beyond the Ocean,' launches an affectionate attack toward her "idol" Jang Nara.
tvN's House on Wheels - Beyond the Ocean (directed by Shin Chan-yang, Kim Ah-rim, hereinafter "House on Wheels - Beyond the Ocean") is conceived as a journey of leaving with one's own home, and tells the new adventure of the "House On Wheels," which spent the four seasons traveling across Korea, setting off across the ocean to the world. Regular cast Seong Dong-il and Kim Hee-won and the show's first female homeowner Jang Nara generate harmless laughs that have received praise, and the program maintains the No. 1 same-time-slot viewership among cable and comprehensive programming channels.
In episode 9, airing today (7th), the House on Wheels family sets up a new front yard on the Shiretoko Peninsula, the northeasternmost area of Japan that borders Russia and is at the eastern end of Hokkaido. Along with this, extreme "extrovert" actor Lee Sun-bin visits House on Wheels as a new guest. Lee Sun-bin, who revealed she is a real fan of Jang Nara, even while rushing to meet the House on Wheels family says, "How can I meet senior Jang Nara? Senior Jang Nara is my idol," leaving her at a loss for what to do and drawing laughter.
Soon after meeting Jang Nara, Lee Sun-bin, wanting to make a good impression on her idol, suppresses her rising high-tension excitement and maintains the shy girl fan act, then suddenly confesses, "Actually, when I was in elementary school I performed a talent show to one of senior's songs. I really wanted to say this," adding a spontaneous affectionate attack that increases the laughter, according to reports. For a moment, Jang Nara not only rapidly becomes close with the bright and cheerful Lee Sun-bin but also, infected by Lee Sun-bin's high tension, shows a series of unexpected behaviors never seen before, drawing attention, the reports say.
Meanwhile, original chef Seong Dong-il and "Food professor" Ra Mi-ran join forces to create an all-time great table, raising expectations. Ra Mi-ran, who shows her "food professor" class by serving grilled pork as brunch the moment she wakes up, exudes homeowner force and takes control of House on Wheels' kitchen. Especially with Seong Dong-il's oversized salmon steak made from salmon freshly caught that day and Ra Mi-ran's hinoki-steamed dish full of fresh seafood, Lee Sun-bin says, "I think I just ate a year's worth of seafood in one meal today," and gives a thumbs-up, the report says.
On the same day, Seong Dong-il, Kim Hee-won, Jang Nara, Ra Mi-ran and Lee Sun-bin set off to explore the wild land. The family's destination is Shiretoko National Park, located even deeper in the eastern end of Hokkaido. Shiretoko National Park, Hokkaido's largest wild forest and a natural World Heritage site, is a place where you can find five lakes reflecting the blue sky and primeval forests that breathe ancient life; as an area untouched by human hands, wild animals and plants live freely in this unknown nature. The House on Wheels family enters this wild land where they do not know when, where, or what they will encounter, carrying both a thrilling excitement and a nail-biting tension, the report says.
Expectations rise for episode 9 of House on Wheels, which will captivate viewers with the favorite chemistry shown by Jang Nara and Lee Sun-bin, Ra Mi-ran's major culinary contributions, and the awe-inspiring, heart-stopping wild forest exploration.
