Singer Hwasa (HWASA) topped the charts on Inkigayo following Show! Music Core.
Hwasa ranked No. 1 on SBS Inkigayo on the afternoon of the 7th with Good Goodbye (굿 굿바이). On the 6th, following MBC Show! Music Core, without any broadcast grants, she also won the No. 1 trophy on Inkigayo, becoming a two-time music show winner.
Hwasa is currently enjoying syndrome-level popularity with Good Goodbye. Through the music video featuring actor Park Jeong-min, the two showed exceptional chemistry and extended the afterglow with a special celebratory stage at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards. That synergy was reflected in Good Goodbye reaching No. 1 on six major domestic online music charts and achieving the year's first "PerfecT all-kill (PAK)" among solo female singers.
These records do not end domestically. Hwasa entered the U.S. Billboard chart Billboard Global 200 at No. 43 for the first time, climbed to No. 2 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales with a rebound, and also topped Billboard Korea's newly established chart Billboard Korea Hot 100.
On the U.S. iTunes song chart, Hwasa's global influence is again evident as she reached No. 1 in four regions including Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Kyrgyzstan; No. 2 in Hong Kong and Indonesia; No. 3 in Thailand and Vietnam; No. 14 in France; and No. 27 in the United States.
On a hot streak at the box office, Hwasa has been actively promoting her solid musical identity with songs such as I Love My Body (아이 러브 마이 바디), NA (나) and Good Goodbye after signing an exclusive contract in June 2023 with P NATION, headed by Psy.
