Actor Lee Jang-woo's reason for heading to Garak Market at dawn 10 hours before his wedding was revealed.
On the 6th, the YouTube channel 'Fat Uncle Lee Jang-woo' posted a video titled 'From the wedding dawn to the next morning, 24 hours of real emotion and real moments fully revealed!' The video vividly captured the behind-the-scenes of the wedding of the couple Lee Jang-woo·Jo Hye-won.
With less than 10 hours left until the wedding, Lee Jang-woo quietly made his way to Garak Market. When the producer asked, "It's uncommon to come to the market on the wedding day," he said, "The bride could hardly eat since yesterday. Because it's a once-in-a-lifetime big event, there was so much to organize that she couldn't eat anything," and added, "If she suddenly eats, she'll have digestive trouble, so I wanted to make seaweed soup with good meat. That's why I came to shop in advance," revealing his 'bride fool' side.
Entering the market, he said, "The lamb chops here are really delicious... jokbal is also tasty, mini jok," listing his favorite dishes one after another and then bursting into laughter, showing his unpretentious charm.
Then Lee Jang-woo said, "I didn't think I'd be nervous because it's a wedding. But I'm really nervous," and confessed frankly, "I hardly slept. I woke up and worried, 'What should I do?' I came because shopping calms me down. Doing what you like makes you comfortable."
Arriving at his regular butcher shop, Lee Jang-woo purchased five types of meat: salchisal, chimasal, galbi kkotsal, alderim (sirloin), and lamb. When the owner asked, "I heard good news?" Lee Jang-woo shyly smiled and said, "I'm getting married tonight," and the owner replied in surprise, "Tonight?"
Stopping briefly at the liquor section of the mart, Lee Jang-woo said, "I can't focus," and turned to leave. Although he had postponed three weddings in dramas, facing his actual first wedding, he practiced image training, saying, "Do you greet when you arrive, stand before the groom's entrance... do you greet while walking?" showing a real 'groom-to-be moment.'
Meanwhile, Lee Jang-woo married actress Jo Hye-won on the 23rd of last month at Lotte World in Songpa District, Seoul, after seven years of dating. The two became a couple through the 2018 KBS2 drama 'My Only One'.<
