The group IVE proved its irreplaceable presence this year by winning multiple awards at 'AAA 2025.'
IVE (An Yujin·Gaeul·Rei·Jang Wonyoung·Liz·Leeseo) won the grand prize 'song of the year' and the 'AAA best K-pop record' and 'AAA best artist' institutional sector awards at the '10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025 (10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025, '10th AAA 2025')' held on the 6th at the National Stadium in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, earning the honor of a triple crown.
IVE, which achieved consecutive hits from the pre-release single 'REBEL HEART' from mini album 3 released earlier this year to the title track 'ATTITUDE' and mini album 4 'XOXZ', expanded its perspective from 'I' to 'we' based on the group's existing color of 'self-assurance.' Their path of sincerely conveying empathy, comfort and solidarity while spreading positive energy was reaffirmed in its influence by this multiple-award win at the '10th AAA 2025.' In addition, after winning 'song of the year' at 'AAA 2022' with the second single title track 'LOVE DIVE,' IVE again won the 'song of the year' grand prize with 'REBEL HEART,' demonstrating the solidity of the 'IVE syndrome.'
IVE, through its agency Starship Entertainment, said, "We are grateful to feel that the time we ran with Dive (official fan club name) this year has been cheered on with such a big award. Above all, it is truly overwhelming that so many people resonated with our story." They added, "In particular, 'REBEL HEART' is an especially meaningful song. Listening to it brings comfort and makes me think of precious people. I hope 'REBEL HEART' will be remembered as that kind of song for you, too," expressing their heartfelt feelings.
Along with the joy of the award, IVE lit up the ceremony with overwhelming performances that day. Dressed in romantic pink outfits, IVE immediately raised the atmosphere with an immersive live 'XOXZ' stage. In the following 'ATTITUDE' performance, they delivered a powerful performance as they strode across the protruding stage with a confident mood, and they recreated Rei's viral short-form challenge segment 'rampaging guinea pig' with actors Park Bogum and Sato Takeru, eliciting a heated response.
In particular, the ceremony revealed the 'Bbibbik (♥beats)' stage, which had only been seen at concerts, drawing attention. IVE captivated the audience with a kitschy performance that brought out the witty lyrics characteristic of 'Bbibbik (♥beats),' radiating lovable charm. The finale that brought the mood to a climax was 'REBEL HEART.' With solid vocal skills and delicate facial acting, IVE completed a spectacular stage, delivering overwhelming emotion with a fluttering, petal-like performance as if cheering for 'us.'
Additionally, Jang Wonyoung, who served as an 'AAA' MC for the fifth consecutive year, won three individual awards, bringing IVE's total to six trophies. Jang Wonyoung expanded her influence across multiple fields by winning the 'AAA Asia Celebrity' award, the 'symbol of AAA' award and the 'AAA grand presence of K-pop' award.
IVE has shown a brilliant trajectory across music streaming, album sales and performances this year. 'REBEL HEART' achieved a perfect all-kill (PAK) by reaching No. 1 on major domestic music charts immediately after its release and won as many as 11 trophies on music shows. IVE received strong love to the extent of winning four awards with 'ATTITUDE' and five awards with 'XOXZ', making a record of 20 music show wins this year alone. Album sales have also exceeded 1 million copies for every release since 'LOVE DIVE' released in 2022, building a milestone of seven consecutive million-seller albums.
Also, true to 'K-Fest (K-festival performance),' IVE on stage has been receiving great love for its overwhelming energy. Following last year's Lollapalooza Chicago, IVE set a record as the first K-pop girl group to appear for two consecutive years by appearing on the stages of Lollapalooza Berlin and Lollapalooza Paris this year, and they also captivated the audience with a solid live performance at 'Rock in Japan Festival 2025,' one of Japan's four major rock festivals.
Meanwhile, IVE recently wrapped up the first Seoul show of their second world tour 'SHOW WHAT I AM' successfully, and they are expected to continue the world tour to communicate with fans worldwide, including the Kyocera Dome Osaka stage in Japan in April, as well as in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
