National MC Yoo Jae-suk made a meaningful remark amid the back-and-forth with Lee Dong-hwi·Ji Seok-jin.
On the 6th, a preview video on the YouTube channel "Tteunteun" showed Lee Dong-hwi appearing as the guest for episode 6 and inviting Yoo Jae-suk and Ji Seok-jin to his home.
The three showcased their trademark banter as they talked on a wide range of topics from investment stories to anecdotes about their pet cats.
When Ji Seok-jin asked, "If you give a cat pocket money, will it take it?," Yoo Jae-suk joked, "Then Dong-hwi would take it and say, "Please give me just 50,000 won more,"."
He went on to say, "Animals repay as much as you give them love, but people do not. That's why there's the saying 'worse than beasts,'" which drew laughter while leaving an oddly realistic remark that caught attention.
Recently Yoo Jae-suk has taken unintended "backlash" as unrelated controversies repeatedly surfaced.
When revelations about actor Lee Yi-kyung's private life emerged and he stepped down from the show "Hangout With Yoo" where he had been appearing, some attention turned to "Why is Yoo Jae-suk silent?" Lee Yi-kyung directly announced legal action and appealed his innocence, and the production team clarified the misunderstanding related to Yoo Jae-suk, saying, "It was expressed as a voluntary withdrawal as a matter of consideration."
Cho Sae-ho was also recently embroiled in allegations of ties to organized crime, and Yoo Jae-suk was again drawn into the matter. Because Yoo Jae-suk has long cared for Cho Sae-ho as a colleague, speculation spread that Yoo Jae-suk "knew and stood by," and Cho Sae-ho's agency warned of legal action, saying, "None of this is true."
Ultimately, agency Antenna announced on the 5th that it would take a tough stance against malicious posts and false rumors, warning, "Consuming or redistributing unverified information as if it were fact is subject to the same legal responsibility."
