Announcer Do Kyung-wan caused a stir after having an unexpected "instant meeting" with an unfamiliar woman at a dumpling shop in Mangwon Market.
On the 5th, a video titled 'I had an instant meeting at a hot place without my wife. Real 100% actual situation' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Dojang TV'.
In the video, Do Kyung-wan visited Mangwon Market alone. Do Kyung-wan said, "I saw Mr. Shingiru doing a street mukbang at the market and it looked so delicious," and headed to the dumpling shop.
When kimchi dumplings and meat dumplings came out freshly steamed, a woman approached Do Kyung-wan first and naturally started a conversation.
When Do Kyung-wan offered, "Shall I give you one?" the woman shot back, "Shall I buy it for you?" and an on-the-spot back-and-forth formed. They exchanged "I'll buy it for you" and "No, I'll buy it" while yielding the dumplings to each other in a peculiar(?) situation, which drew laughter.
The two stood for a while, sharing dumplings and chatting. The woman revealed she was a bride-to-be soon to be married, and Do Kyung-wan made a witty remark, "Then I'll buy you dumplings as a wedding gift."
After the broadcast was released, internet users poured out warm and pleasant reactions such as "I was surprised when I heard they had an instant meeting.", "What would Jang Yoon-jung think if she saw this, Do Kyung-wan went there.", "Do Kyung-wan's friendliness is amazing."
Meanwhile, Do Kyung-wan married singer Jang Yoon-jung in 2013 and has one son and one daughter.<
