Actor and singer Lee Jun-young appears as the second guest on Netflix's daily variety show Getaway and Go with Jangdobari season 3.
In episode 4 of Getaway and Go with Jangdobari (directed by Ryu Su-bin, produced by TEO) season 3, released today (6th, Sat) at 5 p.m., a new story of Jang Doyoun and Lee Jun-young heading to Tokyo, Japan, unfolds. From D.P. to When Life Gives You Tangerines, Lee Jun-young, who is called "Netflix's son" for his various acting transformations, shows a surprising charm, and the chemistry between the two, who are regarded as representative introverts in the entertainment industry and have a 12-year age gap, draws attention.
Jang Doyoun said, "I feel a strange sense of kinship, and the similar tension is reassuring," while expressing concern about whether the introverted Lee Jun-young would adapt well to traveling. But that concern lasts only briefly, as on his arrival Lee Jun-young immediately shows his well-known dancer instincts, making her unable to contain her laughter, the report said. Lee Jun-young explained his reason for appearing on Getaway and Go with Jangdobari, saying, "I often watched Getaway and Go with Jangdobari while eating. I liked that it wasn't sensational," and revealed his fandom, saying, "I like the older sister's comedy style that makes people laugh without putting others down."
Hidden episodes of the two introverts also draw laughs. Lee Jun-young mentioned the incident at this year's Blue Dragon Series Awards when he mistakenly thought winner Lee Jun-hyuk's name was his own and went up on stage, saying, "I wanted to go home." Jang Doyoun, who later mentioned the incident on stage and made people laugh, will also reveal that she privately sent Lee Jun-young an apologetic message because she felt uncomfortable afterward. Also, Lee Jun-young recounts an episode in which he hastily ended a live broadcast because of thousands of viewers, revealing the difficulties of being an introvert and adding to the laughter.
The travel destination for the two is Tokyo, Japan. Lee Jun-young, who was active in Japan as a new member of U-KISS from 2014 to 2022, plans to reveal a nostalgic ramen spot he often visited then, sparking curiosity about what episodes might be hidden. The two also plan to provide plenty to see as they take on a city karting experience that is hard to encounter outside of travel. Especially when the streets got crowded, Lee Jun-young and Jang Doyoun showed a sharply increased introvert index, and he said, "This kind of driving is probably the first and last in my life's history," drawing laughter.
