55-year veteran singer Jo Young-nam appears on MBN 'Kim Ju-ha's Day & Night', igniting a chaotic scene from the start by triggering Kim Ju-ha's 'man luck remark'.
MBN 'Kim Ju-ha's Day & Night' is a new-concept issue maker talk show that promotes 'day and night, cold reason and passion, information and emotion.' Framed as the magazine office 'Day & Night' editorial desk, Kim Ju-ha is editor-in-chief, Moon Se-yoon and Jo Jazz serve as editors, and they interview celebrities from all walks of life and directly cover various scenes to present a new form of 'talktainment'.
On the 6th (today), in the third episode of 'Kim Ju-ha's Day & Night' to be broadcast, 'rugby ball talk master' Jo Young-nam throws a bombshell at Kim Ju-ha, electrifying the scene. After exchanging warm greetings with Kim Ju-ha, Jo Young-nam immediately utters the offbeat line, "I came because I wanted to know why Kim Ju-ha has no man luck," which angers Kim Ju-ha. As Kim Ju-ha raises her voice, "He has man luck! He even has a son!," attention is focused on how the eternal boy Jo Young-nam will handle this dizzying atmosphere from the start.
Also, Jo Young-nam flusters Kim Ju-ha by saying, "I came to propose to Kim Ju-ha," delivering a blunt pitch. He then elicits laughter with a spicy 'self-sacrificial proposal' only an '80s flirting master' could make: "It's advantageous because I'll die soon." With Kim Ju-ha sharply asking, "You know the audience doesn't react well when you talk about a girlfriend on air, right?," the free spirit Jo Young-nam raises expectations about what answer he will give.
During talk about a 'wishlist', Jo Young-nam leaves a weighty line, "Just one thing, I want to love before I die," showing his romantic side. Questions arise about why Jo Young-nam says he can never let go of 'love' until the end.
Meanwhile, Kim Jang-hoon opens up about his honest feelings regarding the nickname that arose from a popular compilation of him shouting, 'Soo?l-hoon', and being the top pick for impersonation targets. He talks about his thoughts on being both the once-mocked 'Soo?l-hoon' and becoming a 'cheat code of variety shows' through his impersonations, and how that changed his mindset. In particular, Kim Jang-hoon said the comment "the funniest among Korea's elderly" was the most entertaining, showing a magnanimous reaction that turned becoming a meme into laughter.
The producers said, "Jo Young-nam manipulated Kim Ju-ha, Moon Se-yoon and Jo Jazz with the innocent unpredictability befitting an 'eternal boy,'" and added, "Please look forward to the strong performances of Jo Young-nam and Kim Jang-hoon, who hard-carry every program they appear on."
Broadcast every Saturday at 9:40 p.m.
