SBS 'Taxi Driver 3' Lee Je-hoon transforms into 'health club owner Dogi' and draws attention.
'Season-based super IP' power is being proven by SBS's Fri-Sat drama 'Taxi Driver 3' (written by Oh Sang-ho / directed by Kang Bo-seung / produced by Studio S, Group8, BN Entertainment), a private revenge agency drama in which the taxi company Rainbow Transportation, shrouded in mystery, and taxi driver Kim Do-gi complete revenge on behalf of wronged victims.
In the fifth episode, Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) and the 'Rainbow Heroes' approached Im Dong-hyun (played by Moon Soo-young), the murder suspect, to dig into the full story of the 'murder without a body of college volleyball player Park Min-ho (played by Lee Do-han),' the first revenge case that started Taxi Driver 15 years ago and the only unsolved case. In the process, Do-gi psychologically pressured Im Dong-hyun by making it appear as if 'Park Min-ho' was alive, and the existence of another suspect, Jo Seong-wook (played by Shin Joo-hwan), was revealed, raising attention to what ugly truth might be hidden among them.
Meanwhile, ahead of the sixth episode airing today (6th), the 'Taxi Driver 3' side released stills of Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) transformed into a health club owner, drawing attention. In the stills, Do-gi is occupying the manager's office of the health club run by villain Im Dong-hyun. Sitting in the manager's chair defiantly in front of Im Dong-hyun, with his legs even propped up on the desk, Do-gi's relaxed demeanor provokes laughter. Moreover, the nameplate on the manager's desk blatantly displays the name of the deceased victim, 'Park Min-ho,' increasing curiosity about what kind of revenge plan popular Do-gi is setting up.
At the same time, Do-gi's earnestness about his secondary persona provokes laughter once again. Various health club advertisements are plastered with 'muscle man Dogi.' Posters of Do-gi's heavily bulked-up, raging muscles both tickle the funny bone and heighten interest in how far Do-gi's inventive secondary persona play will spread.
Meanwhile, 'Taxi Driver 3,' selected as a production supported work by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Korea Communications Agency (KCA) in 2025, will air its sixth episode today (6th) at 9:50 p.m.
