The YouTube channel "Pal-a-deum" is run jointly by the "crazy duo" actors Shin Hyun-joon·Chung Joon-ho, who boast bromance chemistry forged by a long friendship. However, since the channel opened, it has struggled.
They recruited YouTube hit actor Jung I-rang to attempt a new twist. It is the sketch comedy genre that Shin Hyun-joon and Chung Joon-ho are trying for the first time.
Having been loved for their seasoned variety sensibility, unpredictable banter and reality chemistry that bickers like a married couple on various broadcasts, the two will boldly take on a new genre called hyperrealism (extreme realism) comedy that blurs the line between realistic characters and acting in this project.
This sketch comedy has raised expectations with the addition of actor Jung I-rang, who proved her presence with distinctive characters on "SNL Korea," "Office Workers" and "Sisters' Tea Room." In the content, Jung I-rang will play a charismatic figure who manipulates the two and also convey an endearing bungler image, shouldering the play's tension and laughter.
