The group UNIS (UNIS) will grace Japan's year-end stage for the second consecutive year.
UNIS (Hyeonju, Nana, Gehlee, Kotoko, Bang Yunha, Elicia, O Yuna, Lim Seowon) will appear at the "9th Momoiro Gahapzen" to be held on the 31st.
Last year, before their official Japanese debut, UNIS was invited to perform at "Momoiro Gahapzen" as the first K-pop girl group to do so. They have continued to secure a spot in the lineup from last year into this year, proving their solid popularity locally. Above all, it is even more meaningful that UNIS is the first K-pop group to appear at "Momoiro Gahapzen" for two consecutive years.
At their first appearance, UNIS performed the title track "You Only Don't Know" from their first single album CURIOUS and drew explosive reactions with collaboration stages with Japan's top artists. Expectations are high for what kind of performance will captivate local audiences this year.
"Momoiro Gahapzen" is a year-end countdown live hosted by Japan's popular girl group Momoiro Clover Z. From master artists who represent Japan to artists who drew attention this year, performers come together to spectacularly decorate the last day of the year.
This year UNIS focused on global activities. Through their first Asia tour they met fans in Korea, Japan and the Philippines. They then captivated the archipelago by releasing the collaboration song "Shaking My Head" with Japanese solo artist noa and their first Japanese digital single "Moshimoshi."
Meanwhile, the "9th Momoiro Gahapzen," confirmed to feature UNIS, will be broadcast live on ABEMA from 2 p.m. on the 31st.<
