Actor Heo Seong-tae expressed an unusual passion for promoting his work.
On the morning of the 5th on SBS PowerFM's Park Ha-sun's Cinetown, director Kim Seok of the film Information Source and actor Heo Seong-tae appeared as guests and talked.
Information Source (director Kim Seok) is a crime action comedy that unfolds when former ace detective Oh Nam-hyeok (played by Heo Seong-tae), who lost his passion, will and detective instincts after being demoted, and informant Jo Tae-bong (played by Jo Bok-rae), who had been supplying information on major cases and pocketing blind money, accidentally get involved in a big deal.
Previously, Heo Seong-tae had presented various dance challenges to promote the work. But in an interview he said, "I uploaded a lot of videos of me dancing on my social media, and Si-eon said he couldn't even stand to look at them," which drew laughter.
In response, Heo Seong-tae said, "Now the (dance challenges) have stopped. I worked really hard until the release," while also teasing, "A big one is coming, again. I'm preparing something big," drawing attention.
He, who said he is especially taking an active role by coming up with ideas himself, expressed his affection, "As soon as I wake up I start sending (videos) continuously from 6:30. The production company CEO, staff and the publicity company are working hard, but I am working hard too. I get confirmation saying 'I'll do this' and then do it. I think of it as my film and work hard on it."
Meanwhile, Information Source was released on the 3rd and is being shown in theaters nationwide.
