Actor Park Ha-sun spoke about her husband Ryu Soo-young's fondness for smoking.
On the morning of the 5th on SBS PowerFM's Park Ha-sun's Cine Town, director Kim Seok of the film Information Source and actor Heo Sung-tae appeared as guests and talked.
Information Source (directed by Kim Seok) is a crime action comedy that unfolds when once-top detective Oh Nam-hyuk (played by Heo Sung-tae), who lost his passion, will and investigative instincts after being demoted, and informant Jo Tae-bong (played by Jo Bok-rae), who had been taking blind money by providing information on major cases, accidentally get involved in a big scheme.
That day Heo Sung-tae said he had even tried quitting smoking and drinking for the project. Heo Sung-tae said, "I tried and failed, and now I haven't had a drop of alcohol since March 2 of this year for three months, and now I only have one or two drinks on big occasions," which surprised listeners.
He said, "I kept trying and failing to quit smoking, repeating it, and with the release approaching I kept thinking about dancing every morning. So after our movie opens well I plan to go into a four-night, five-day smoke-free camp in mid-December," and added, "It seems like a government policy. If you pay 100,000 won you can go to a four-night, five-day camp and have your urine tested at three and six months; if you pass they refund you. That system exists nationwide."
Hearing this, Park Ha-sun said, "Is there something like that?" with interest, then complained, "I should send my husband. There is someone who can't quit even when the baby tells him to. I should send him," prompting laughter.
Information Source opened on the 3rd and is showing in theaters nationwide.
