Antenna, the agency representing broadcaster Yoo Jae-seok, has declared it will take a tough stance against the spread of malicious posts targeting its artists.
On the 5th, Antenna said on its official social media, "Recently, there have been numerous acts that go beyond freedom of expression and damage the dignity of our artists," and "We will take legal action against authors of malicious posts such as the dissemination of false information and verbally abusive, personally attacking insults."
Antenna explained that it is currently collecting problematic posts through legal consultation and internal monitoring. It also warned, "Consuming or redistributing unverified content as if it were factual can also make one subject to the same legal liability."
The agency specifically asked fans to report directly. Antenna said, "If you find malicious posts and comments, please report them to the provided email," and emphasized, "Reports on closed communities and private accounts have been of great help in advancing legal procedures."
Finally, it said, "We appreciate fans' support and will continue to do our best to protect the rights and interests of our artists."

Accordingly, the company, through legal consultation and internal monitoring, is compiling materials related to the posts and comments, and plans to take legal measures against authors of malicious posts and comments that damage the reputation of its artists. We also inform you that consuming or redistributing unverified content as if it were factual can likewise make one subject to the same legal liability.
Fans are requested to report malicious posts and comments to the email account below. In particular, reports about some closed communities and private social media accounts have been very helpful for the company's legal procedures.
