'I'm SOLO' season 28's Young-chul and Young-ja finally announced their marriage.
On the 5th the YouTube channel 'Chonjang Entertainment TV' released an exclusive interview video with Young-ja and Young-chul titled 'From first meeting to marriage!'
In the video the two said "we are getting married" and shared the happy news while revealing the wedding invitation they made themselves.
What drew attention was that the wedding ceremony start time is 5:47 p.m. Young-ja explained, "(The venue) said 5:50 p.m. would be possible, but Young-chul really wanted to have it at this time. It carries the meaning of wanting to break the mold."
Young-chul explained why he decided to marry Young-ja: "I wanted to marry Young-ja no matter what. As I met her, she matched so well with the image of a spouse I had in mind. I became certain, and I thought and worked hard to win her heart." He continued, "I have never once seen Young-ja say something annoyed or show mood swings. She is always calm, which made me feel secure," showing his affection.
He also spoke about their dating process: "Anyone's emotions can rise and fall, but each time we resolved things well through conversation," and confessed, "I loved Young-ja's wisdom, the beauty of her words, and the depth of her heart. I felt she was more than enough to be my lifetime partner."
Young-ja also said she was certain about marrying Young-chul. "I didn't decide swept away by the atmosphere. As we met, I became certain she was a 'good person,'" and she confessed, "Conversations were comfortable. Now I don't want to marry someone with whom conversation is uncomfortable."
She added with a laugh, "I don't like slow people, but Young-chul acts quickly and is enterprising. He gave me a lot of certainty, which made feelings I didn't have appear."
Young-chul emphasized, "Although we've argued over matters related to the show, we've never fought over real-life issues between the two of us," highlighting their compatibility.
Meanwhile, Young-ja and Young-chul were matched as the final couple on ENA·SBS Plus' 'I'm SOLO' season 28 divorced special. The two, who continued their relationship after the broadcast, will hold their wedding in January and begin their new start as a married couple.<
