'5th-generation hot rookie' ifeye (Ifeye) proved its 'six members, six vocal charms' by consecutively releasing cover content that maximized each member's individuality and sensibility.
ifeye (Ifeye, Kassia Rahee Won Hwayeon Sasha Taerin Miyu) began with Miyu on Oct. 17 and released customized cover videos for each member through Kassia on Dec. 4. The six members are receiving strong praise from listeners for recreating the original songs with different timbres.
Miyu, who opened the series first, showed a simple but warm vocal sensibility through IU's 'Bye, summer.' Miyu's unique lyrical tone, which delicately builds emotional lines, left a deep aftertaste and drew responses calling her a "sensation of emotion." Next, Hwayeon reinterpreted Choe Yena's 'Love War' in her own colors. Her low, powerful tone, deep emotional expression and chic composure solidly filled the song's narrative and further expanded her vocal spectrum.
The youngest, Sasha, chose Taeyeon's '11:11' and delivered a calm but deeply emotional vocal. Her clear tone and relaxed breath control blended to delicately capture the original song's atmosphere while asserting her presence with a warm voice. Rahee rendered Rosé's 'toxic till the end' in her own style and added her own guitar playing to showcase another charm.

Kassia, who closed out the cover series, selected Elijah Woods' '24/7, 365.' Based on trendy and tasteful pop vocals, she led with a smooth tone to express the song's sensibility in her own style. A scene in which the members call out the original singer's name at the end of the song and shout "I love you" also drew attention as a fan-filled moment.
ifeye's cover content series served as an opportunity to reaffirm the group's vocal completeness by maximizing each member's vocal ability and musical color.
