ILLIT, the group gaining popularity with the new song 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE', achieved strong results on annual music charts of major platforms in Korea and Japan.
On Dec. 5, Billboard Japan released its 2025 year-end charts (tracking period Nov. 25, 2024–Nov. 23, 2025), which showed that ILLIT (Yoon-ah, Min-ju, Moka, Won-hee, Iroha)'s first original Japanese song 'Almond Chocolate' and their debut song 'Magnetic' placed 77 and 91, respectively, on the comprehensive song chart 'Hot 100'. These songs also appeared on the Billboard Japan 'streaming songs' chart at 96 and 66. ILLIT is the only foreign artist to have two songs enter both charts.
The mini album 1 'SUPER REAL ME', which includes 'Magnetic', ranked 60 on 'Hot Albums' and 54 on 'Streaming Albums'. The group's first Japanese single released in September, 'Toki Yo Tomare' (original title 時よ止まれ/토키 요 토마레), which swept local record charts upon release, also ranked 92 on 'Top Single Sales'. Based on these achievements, ILLIT ranked 33 on 'Artist 100', which combines comprehensive song and album points.
ILLIT also stood out on the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify. According to Spotify's 2025 year-end settlement of account, ILLIT ranked 22 as 'top artist' with the most streams this year in Korea and Japan and 17 as 'top group'. 'Magnetic' surpassed 700 million cumulative plays on Spotify alone and was included in both countries' 'top tracks' rankings, continuing its long-run success.
The recently released single 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE' is also enjoying strong global popularity. The title track of the same name reached No. 1 in the U.S. and No. 2 globally on Spotify's 'Top Song Debut' chart (tracking Nov. 28–30). The song entered the global 'daily top songs' chart for the first time on Nov. 27 and has been climbing daily since. It also charted on the U.S. 'daily top songs' (Dec. 1), confirming its presence in the mainstream pop market.
'NOT CUTE ANYMORE' has become a hot song among trend-sensitive people in their teens and 20s and is spreading like a trend across major short-form platforms. More than 60,000 videos using the song as background music have been posted on global short-form video platforms TikTok and Instagram Reels. ILLIT, which set meaningful milestones this year while moving between Korea and Japan, is expected to continue expanding its global popularity.
