Singer Hwasa (HWASA) became the first No. 1 artist on the new chart created by Billboard headquarters and Billboard Korea, the "Billboard Korea Hot 100."
On the chart dated Dec. 6, released by Billboard Korea on the 3rd, Hwasa's "Good Goodbye" rose to the top, adding significance as the chart's first No. 1.
The "Billboard Korea Hot 100" is a domestic-focused songs chart showing the most beloved tracks in Korea, compiled based on official data such as streaming usage data from major global and domestic music platforms and digital song sales.
Earlier, on the Dec. 6 Billboard chart released Dec. 2 (local time), "Good Goodbye" entered the Billboard Global 200 at No. 43 for the first time, and it reached a career high of No. 2 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.
It also topped the iTunes song charts in four regions — Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Kyrgyzstan — and reached No. 2 in Hong Kong and Indonesia, No. 3 in Thailand and Vietnam, No. 14 in France and No. 27 in the United States, showcasing the global expansion of its resurging popularity.
Also, on the Circle Chart for the 48th week of 2025 (Nov. 23–Nov. 29), released on the 7th, "Good Goodbye" swept No. 1 across the digital, streaming, BGM, V-coloring, ringtone and call‑connection tone charts, earning six crowns.
Hwasa became, quite literally, "the trend of the music scene" after her celebratory stage with Park Jeong-min at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards held at KBS Hall in Yeouido on the 19th of last month.
With its resurging popularity, she achieved a perfect all-kill (PAK) — the first solo female artist this year to top six major domestic music sites including Melon, Genie, Bugs, YouTube Music, Flo and Vibe — and the music video surpassed 55 million views on YouTube, creating a phenomenon.
Since signing an exclusive contract with P NATION, led by Psy, in June 2023, Hwasa has continued a singular trajectory, showing a broad musical spectrum.
