The group BTS topped K-pop on Spotify.
On the 4th, the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify released its 2025 Wrapped year-end settlement of account report. This report is the result of calculating the most loved artists, songs and albums worldwide and in Korea based on one year of streaming data. BTS was chosen as the most streamed artist globally among Korean singers this year. It is especially remarkable that they defended the top spot this year without full-group activities.
Jungkook ranked eighth in the "global K-pop artist streaming" category. He proved his unique influence as the only male solo singer within the top 10. Jungkook recently surpassed 10 billion cumulative streams for the solo songs he released under his own name. That is a first for a Korean solo singer.
BTS members also stood out on the list of most-streamed K-pop songs globally. Jimin's solo second album MUSE title track "Who" (3rd), Jin's solo second album Echo title track "Don't Say You Love Me" (4th) and Jungkook's solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" (8th) occupied the top chart positions. "Who" and "Don't Say You Love Me" also ranked 26th and 42nd among the most-played songs worldwide this year.
BTS's influence was clearly evident domestically as well. Jimin, Jin and Jungkook ranked 1st, 3rd and 4th respectively among Korea's "most streamed artists" in the 2025 Wrapped year-end settlement of account, and Jimin held the top spot for a third consecutive year. Not only the three members in the top 10 but the team ranked 11th, and V (14th) and J-Hope (39th) were also placed in the upper ranks.
Streaming performance of songs was also overwhelming. Jimin's "Who," Jin's "Don't Say You Love Me," Jungkook's "Seven (feat. Latto)," V and Park Hyo-shin's duet "Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)," the title track "Standing Next to You" from Jungkook's solo album GOLDEN, and Jimin's MUSE album track "Be Mine" filled the domestic most-streamed songs rankings from 1st to 6th.
Jin's solo first album Happy title track "Running Wild" was 11th, Jungkook's solo single "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)" was 13th, and Jimin's solo album FACE title track "Like Crazy" was 14th. Moreover, Jimin's full-length second album MUSE had all tracks enter the rankings.
BTS will carry out a large-scale world tour along with releasing a new album next spring. Recently, through the global superfans platform Weverse, they have shared images of working together as a full group and updates on their individual activities. They are communicating with fans in various ways, further raising anticipation for activities in 2026.
